What is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)?

  • Medication assisted treatment helps assist in the process of recovery for opioid and alcohol use disorders through the use of medications, in combination with therapy and treatment options i.e. residential treatment (28 day or long-term care), IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) or PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program).
  • MAT provides a whole patient approach when treating opioid and alcohol use disorders in order to individualize treatment to meet patients’ needs and goals.  This approach helps the individual sustain recovery.

At Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center, our MAT program offers:

  • Experienced MAT doctors and nurses
  • Withdrawal management
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Pharmacy on-site with evening hours
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Pre-natal care
  • All FDA approved medicines for opioid and alcohol misuse

If you or someone you know might benefit from MAT services, call
