Liz Bergeron, Certified Pharmacy Technician

I have been a Pharmacy Technician since 1977. My first job, I delivered prescriptions for a very small independent pharmacy in my hometown of Rock Island, Quebec, Canada. I was taught from the very beginning about customer care, ethics, reliability and loyalty. I moved to New Hampshire and immediately took employment with Town and Country Pharmacy, where the same values were applied. This was a very fast paced environment and I love it. Once they closed their doors, I left to work for Rice’s Pharmacy, downtown Nashua. This is where I met most of the clients of Harbor Homes, some I still see today and I treasure them. I saw “big chain” pharmacies come along and the smaller independent pharmacies go away. It was then that I became a Certified Technician in 2000 and took my inventory expertise, education and skills to St. Joseph’s Hospital. I love being a technician! Why did I not become a pharmacist? Because I never felt called to. I’ve learned in all the years of working with exceptional Pharmacists that it is a calling to serve at the capacity that they do. To assist them on a day to day basis is a privilege. I took about 18 months away from Pharmacy before coming to Harbor Care Health & Wellness. I am very happy to be back here as I work for about 1 year for the ESP program about 17 years ago. I am here to assist and help and will always do my very best. Come visit us!
